GO M.A.D. [MAKE A DIFFERENCE]
Are you a teacher? Do you have patience with young people? Are you willing to mentor or tutor young people in math, english, computer skills, or life skills?
We believe that our youth need a good education and a strong support from mentors, coaches, and teacher. Our computer / educational lab is open Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM. Would you consider mentoring, coaching, or teaching?
MENTOR APPLICATION
We need individuals who give 2-4 hours per month to engage and invest in the youth of The Martin Center. Ideally, this will be the same day each month [i.e. the 1st Monday or 3rd Friday]. With your consitent help, strong relationships can be developed with the youth and a major impact will be made. Would you consider giving one evening a week or month to The Martin Center?
VOLUNTEER APPLICATION
Do you enjoy playing basketball or volleyball? Do you have coaching or referee experience? We need you to help in organized sports programs in Downtown Canton. We believe that team sports can develop character, determination, and discipline in an individual. Sports can help prepare youth for working with others in the future. Would you consider participating in the sports and games projects at The Martin Center?
